Optimizing the System for a Major Performance Marketing and Online Website Monetization Company
The Customer specializes in attracting users through the analysis of statistics of attendance of web resources. In connection with the expansion of business and an increasing number of analyzed resources and types of data, the Customer needed to optimize the existing system. SENLA was asked to improve the quality of the code and, as a result, the system’s ability to work with an ever-increasing amount of resources without loss of efficiency.
Salesforce Ecosystem Integration with External Systems
The main task was to integrate the Customer’s service with the Salesforce ecosystem and third-party resources, in particular with Jira.
Reason: if the Customer’s managers, who worked with Salesforce, noticed a discrepancy in the description of apartments and houses, they created a case in Salesforce. And then they did the same thing, but now with Jira. This manual process took a lot of time.
Also, the Customer often had problems with preparing the system for new updates. For example, Salesforce transferred Customer’s organization to its server, and on this server, there were problems with the Firewall. Consequently, the Customer could not integrate the system with external systems.
Data Extraction Mechanism
The Customer faced the problem with data extraction from the database according to certain rules and conversion of the data in a given format.
The Customer expected the implementation of the data extraction mechanism and generation of data files with a specific structure and in the required format.
System Integration Solution
The Customer came to us with the following problem: staff spent a lot of time creating the same tasks in different systems.
There were no difficulties during the execution of the task, as we already had relevant experience. We integrated the following systems with each other: data storage system, data warehouse system, SAP and Jira so that the tasks appeared simultaneously in all the systems.
Legacy Technologies Replacement
The Customer faced the problem of using legacy technologies. It has become very problematic to support them and accumulate modern features.
The Customer had many tasks and he was short of people. Our engineering team had to upgrade the code of the system by rewriting it to more modern programming languages and add advanced features. The main goal of the project was carrying out electronic document circulation.
Hardware and Software Complex
The Customer had a large number of parts in stock with minimal difference in appearance. In order to identify the parts, there was a special employee who spent a lot of time while looking for those parts in the catalog and identifying them. The Customer wanted a mechanism that can identify those similar parts within 5 seconds and show the results immediately.
Central Production Management Platform
The Customer had a desktop application with simple functionality, which helped to monitor the work of the production unit. But it was too inconvenient to bring a laptop to the production unit every time. SENLA needed to develop an iOS mobile application, which should allow employees to monitor the quality of the products in the production unit on the go.
