After signing a contract between Skelia and Alpega, Skelia has launched the process of shortlisting the most suitable QA and testing talents, guided by the project specifics and started to hire the team. Just in 2 months, Skelia optimized the dedicated testing team, powering it with 22 QA specialists skilled in manual and automated testing managed by QA leads. In 2 weeks 100% of knowledge and skills were transferred to Skelia and we started a full-cycle QA servicing process.
THE RESULTS
Since 2019 Skelia and Alpega have built transparent and well-documented testing processes and keep on running smooth delivery. At first, Skelia’s RPA team held a discovery session with the Head of the client's Finance department and Managing Director to discuss future cooperation. The client also allocated a Finance Manager to consult Skelia’s RPA team in the course of the project.
As soon as the initial analysis was ready, Skelia’s team started implementing the RPA solution using UiPath Studio for robot development according to the defined business processes and logic, and supported the client's Finance team during robot deployment, and first launches.
THE RESULTS
As result, Skelia has built a robot that collects and processes the data into one file. The value of the product lies in the successful checking and collecting of all the necessary information in one process, from two working days to three working hours.
With our solution, the client has achieved the following results:
5x time cut on the accomplishment of all tax-related actions. The time needed for checking and collecting of all information about tax payment was reduced from two working days to three working hours.

Wordbee is a cloud-based collaborative workspace platform for the management of translation projects (TMS) and Computer Assisted Translation with over 25,000 unique users globally.
THE ENGAGEMENT
Skelia and Wordbee commenced partnership in April 2019, and the collaboration went on for a full year, ending in April 2020. Skelia provided Wordbee with development staff augmentation services on its major projects. The main services included custom development, software testing, bug fixes, and frontend development.
Skelia operated as a part of a cross border team that included people from Luxembourg, Egypt and Greece. Skelia’s team worked on the same codebase with around 15 to 20 developers of Wordbee’s TMS and CAT development group. The teams also comprised around 1-2 QA persons each. Skelia provided four teammates, two developers and two QA specialists.
THE RESULTS
By providing high-quality code, knowledge in writing automation tests and best code review practices, Wordbee managed to streamline all its internal processes.

Skelia's team leverages both manual and automation testing capabilities to support the entire QA cycle. For Showpad’s specific needs, this usually requires around 9 QA professionals from Skelia, but the number varies depending on the workload. The QA testers work as a cohesive extension of Showpad’s team with their own dedicated email addresses and direct access to all the systems that Showpad’s internal engineers have.
When collaborating with Skelia, Showpad pays no management overhead due to the direct relationship they have with the engineers.
THE RESULTS
Overall, Skelia’s team solves all possible QA tasks: test planning, test design, API testing and automation, UI web automation (TestCafe mostly and Selenium), UI iOS native automation, and regression testing, among many others.
As of 2020, Skelia and Showpad have enjoyed 9 years of tight and effective collaboration—and they are still counting! Wandering detection and prevention. Using automated door controls and special IoT bracelets, the system can deny access for residents and patients to zones where they are not allowed for safety reasons. Furthermore, the system can also automatically trigger alarms to the nurses’ mobile devices, if a person moves outside a safe zone. The nurses will also get an accurate location of the person.
Wireless nurse call systems. The intramural accurate location determination system helps nurses to cope with the comprehensive requirements of the modern healthcare environment and offers solutions to help them manage patient mobility and safety.
