Forever Home Cemetery Roadside Sign
Thousands of people drive past us every day on Lincoln Parkway, along Historic Route 66, and almost none of them know what is here.
There are only four cemeteries in the whole of Illinois where a person and the pets they love can rest together in the same grave site. Forever Home is one of them, and it is right here in Logan County. Families drive from other counties once they find out. The problem is that almost nobody finds out.
A sign at the road would change that. Not a small marker, but something visible from the highway, carved in natural limestone and lit at night, telling everyone driving by that this place exists and what it is for. Roughly ten feet wide and four feet tall, engraved with the cemetery's name and the words that describe what we do: People & Pets, Together.
What it would take:
- A natural limestone sign stone
- Sandblast engraving, etched and painted
- A stone base, concrete footing, and setting the stone
- Plantings, mulch, and two ground lights
This one is on our wish list, and we would love to see it happen one day.

Something we'd love to do one day. If you might want to be part of it when the time comes, we'd love to hear from you.
I'd be interested
